The lodge had a cozy and homely feel with a beautiful garden view. The fully equipped kitchen was a great convenience, especially with the dishwasher and microwave. The private bathroom was clean and well-maintained, perfect for a relaxing shower after a day of exploring.
Personally, I found the private entrance of the double room a bit inconvenient. It's just my opinion though, as some guests may appreciate the added privacy.

We got great value for our money with this spacious and well-equipped woodland lodge. The location was ideal for boating on Loch Tay and exploring the area. The owners were lovely and very accommodating. Plus, it was super dog-friendly, a bonus for us!
The breakfast offerings could have been better, but that didn't really affect us as it was a self-catering lodge.

The lodge was very clean and tidy, providing plenty of space for our large group. the location was ideal for exploring the area, with a convenient Co-op just a 2-minute walk away. the owners were lovely and very accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. It was also great that the lodge was dog friendly, allowing us to bring our furry friend along.
One small downside was having to pay extra for electricity, although it was only £5 per night. If it had been included in the price, it wouldn't have been noticeable.

During my transit travel, I had the chance to stay at Woodland Chestnut Lodge in Killin. The lodge appeared slightly dated, but I learned that it was due to be modernized soon.

The lodge was clean and tidy, providing plenty of space for our family. We loved the great location, as it allowed us to easily explore the area. The Co-op in the village was a convenient bonus. The owners were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome. We also appreciated how dog-friendly the lodge was.
While the lodge was slightly dated, we were informed that it will soon be modernized. we couldn't find the hairdryer that was supposed to be in the cabin, and the TV was positioned a bit too high, leading to some neck discomfort.

The lodge was super clean and spacious, perfect for chilling with my friends. We went hiking and cycling nearby, and it was INSANE! The owners were so cool and the location was lit, with a convenience store just a short walk away. Plus, they were totally down with dogs, so our furry friend had a blast too!
One thing that could've been better for us party-goers is if there was a sick sound system in the lodge. We had to rely on our lame phone speakers for music, which was a bit of a buzzkill.

Stayed at a lodge with stunning mountain views. Free WiFi and parking, perfect for scrolling through social media while my car sat there. Pet-friendly, so my dog could annoy me even on vacation. Loved the patio and terrace, where I could pretend to enjoy nature.
Oh, can't forget paying extra for electricity. What a treat, like playing roulette with my wallet!

We especially appreciated the fact that it had four bedrooms, which gave us all plenty of room to move around. the location was also fantastic, with a Co-op just a two-minute walk away, making it easy to pick up any supplies we needed. the owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with anything we needed. We also loved how dog-friendly the lodge was, making it a perfect getaway for our furry friends.
The sofas in the lodge were in need of replacement, as they had clearly been well-used. One of the sofas felt like sitting on the floor, which was quite uncomfortable.
